Chilli Pepper's 16th Annual Chili Cook Sunday , February 28th

Chilli Peppers 16th Annual Chili Cook Off took place Sunday, February 28th, at Stripers Bar & Grille, in the Shallowbag Bay Marina from.

Cook off competition is open to individuals as well as restaurants. "Home Kitchen" for mom and pop and non-restaurant entries, was continued for this year's cook off event.

Prizes awarded in four categories, Meat, Other Meat, Vegetarian, and Home Kitchen.

Several Local businesses agreed to donate product and services to the annual charity cook-off to include gift certificates from Chilli Peppers, Stripers Bar & Grille, Thacker & Pratt, Lori Douglas Photography, Barr-ee Station, Pledger Palace, Lotus Day Spa and CD's from Beach 104 Radio. Sound and DJ services donated by Soundwavz Entertainment.

A portion of proceeds will benefit First Flight High School and Manteo High School scholarship programs. Chilli Peppers and Stripers are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week and offer brunch on Sunday starting at 10:00am
